Souffer's?

There was once a restaurant chain named Stouffer's that
had a few outlets in Philadelphia (one in Germantown
and one in Penn Center IIRC). They were a little nicer
and notch above H&H and Linton's. They were also in
other cities, including several premium places in Ohio.

There is still a frozen food by that name.
Would anyone know what happened to the restaurants?

Stouffers was taken over by Nestle. They gave up on the
restaurant business.

Top of Centre Square at 1500 Market used to be a Stouffers

Top of the Triangle at 600 Grant Street in Pitt was a Stouffers too.
