I'm staying at the Chestnut Hill Hotel in a few weeks, and I'm looking for a
restaurant that can accomodate a group of about 10 or 12 for dinner. I don't
know the food likes and dislikes of this group, so the place should have at
least some decent non-meat dishes. I'm coming in from San Francisco, so a
Chinese restaurant would not be my first choice. Any recommendations? Is Rollers
still good?
Thanks.

Give some thought to Cafette.

Roller's is good, but you'd better give them plenty of warning with a party
that big - you'll fill a good third of their seating.

If you want the ultimate in convenience, there's a Melting Pot fondue
restaurant right below the hotel. I think its quite good but a tad overpriced.
The restaurant is enormous, so they should have no trouble seating your
crowd.

I'd also suggest considering the Solaris Grill and the Cresheim Cottage Cafe
(www.cresheimcottage.com).

Thanks. I found the Cresheim Cottage Cafe Web site after I posted my original
message. Looks like they could accomodate us easily. Any idea if the food's
good?

It was the one time we've tried it for dinner. We've gone to brunch
several times, though, and we've always been happy with that.

Consider Cin Cin (http://www.chestnuthillfood.com/cincin/). I think it
pleases more than many of the alternatives.
